Scientific Writing Lab: Individual Tutoring Service - DIGITAL

Are you having trouble writing a document or preparing a presentation in English? The Tutoring Service can help! Whether it is a course essay, a thesis, a presentation, or preparation for a language test, you can receive individually tailored advice on a wide variety of communication problems.
NOTE: This is not a course in the traditional sense: we will not meet regularly as a class. Rather, the purpose here is for you to obtain personal consultation regarding your academic language use (e.g., clarity and coherence) and style (e.g., appropriate academic vocabulary, tone, and formatting).
After you enroll, please go to my Moodle site for the service (91080; password = tutoring). There, you will find information on how to proceed and arrange your first thirty-minute appointment for us to meet online and discuss your writing/ presenting concerns. Depending on course enrollment and individual need, a second appointment may be possible. If you have a special need to meet outside the times listed below, send me an email to discuss possible alternatives (christopher.hank@hu-berlin.de).
